Located in Erin, Ontario, Wetmore Stables at Rogers Creek is a sanctuary for horses set on 50 acres in the heart of the Caledon equestrian community.

Conveniently located just 40 minutes west of Pearson Airport and Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto. It is also just a short drive from the Milton Equine Clinic, Mohawk Racetrack, University of Guelph, Angelstone Tournaments and just a forty minute drive east to the Caledon Equestrian Park.

Nancy has over 40 years experience rehabilitating show horses as well as thoroughbred and standardbred race horses.

Ian Millar, Wellwood Stables and Gail Cox to name a few, have entrusted horses to her care.

Renovated barn with all the amenities.
 

The recently renovated barn was custom fitted to meet the needs of the equine residents. The layout provides maximum ventilation and flow to optimize observation and care of the horses. Roomy 12x12 matted stalls with windows use an open concept to ensure interaction between horses and their caregivers.

MEET

NANCY WETMORE

Nancy Wetmore, owner of Wetmore Stables at Rogers Creek has trained, shown, and sold hunters and jumpers in Canada and the US for over 40 years.

 

Additionally, Nancy is also a Senior judge of hunters and jumpers in Canada and the US and has also judged internationally. She was honored to judge the inaugural American Hunter class at the Dublin Horse Show.

 

Nancy has been an equestrian analyst for show jumping on television for over twenty years. She has covered such prestigious events as the Olympics, World Equestrian Games, The Royal Winter Fair, Spruce Meadows and the Millstreet Horse Show in Ireland.

 

Nancy has also conditioned thoroughbreds for racing and has been caring and rehabilitating show and race horses throughout her career.

 

Nancy is also a qualified horse appraiser and expert horse witness.
